Whether you are pregnant, or thinking about pregnancy or becoming pregnant, Welcome! I hope you will find the information you are looking for here.

I am the mother of two daughters, Hana and Lexi, and I have been pregnant three times.

Being pregnant was a wonderful time for me, although I did have to deal with the usual discomforts such as relentless heartburn, swollen feet, and Braxton Hicks contractions that started at 14 weeks! (Good grief!) I found that my pregnancies were completely different - it's strange how that happens, isn't it? There are natural ways to alleviate the various discomforts which I will expand on later.

I want to share something with you

Before I knew that I was pregnant with Hana (our first), I had a dream one night that I was holding a blond baby girl. I could smell her and feel how much she weighed, and everything. It was so real. I was holding her with my left arm, and I was sorting laundry with my right arm (I know! Fun times in this dream, hey?). Suddenly, she looked at me and said, "Thank you. Thank you." Clear as day. At first I thought she was thanking me for doing the laundry, then I realised, "Oh, she is thanking me for being her mother!" I woke up bawling my head off, so sad that I was not pregnant again that month. I was SURE that I was not pregnant! At James' insistence, I took a pg test, and voila! I really was pregnant. And we really had a blond baby girl. And she was so beautiful that we named her Hana, which means flower in Japanese.

The dream I described above demonstrates that your body can tell you things, if only you are open to listening. When you're pregnant, your body knows exactly what to do. Women have been doing this forever. Listen to your body. Remember that your body knows exactly what to do. Trust yourself. Trust your amazing body.

I wish you all the best in your beautiful journey! And I hope that you find the information on my website to be helpful, inspiring and encouraging.
