Pregnancy can be a time of anxiety -- wondering what on earth you will do with this new little stranger you will bring home -- but it is also a time of great joy.

I found that when I was expecting the first time, I was so obsessed with being pregnant, I didn't really give a lot of thought to how I would take care of my new baby, and what exactly having a new baby entails. I thought it would just happen naturally.

Gone are the days when your mother moves in with you after the baby is born. New parents nowadays have to figure it all out by ourselves.

The thing is, you will figure it all out, and you will be a great parent!

After my first daughter Hana was born, I quickly realised that sometimes it doesn't all come naturally -- it helps to have a friend or sister who can give you some tips to make things easier. And that is my goal with this website. I am now the mother of three children, Hana, Alexa and Trey. They keep me hopping!

People have always come to me for baby advice. It may sound funny, but even my sister-in-law (who is a labor & delivery nurse) comes to me for advice on babies!
