Simmered Sole

  • Put 1/4 cup of sole or basa in a shallow frying pan.
  • Add just enough water to cover fish.
  • Bring the water to a boil, then simmer the fish on low heat until cooked (about 20 minutes).
  • Check the fish carefully for bones. Use a fork to take out any bones you can see.
  • Mash the cooked fish with a fork.
  • Sole and basa are great fish to choose because they have few bones.

Tips: This recipe will stay fresh in the fridge for two days. After you cook a recipe for your baby, put the amount you will use in three days in the fridge. Divide the rest into small servings and freeze it right away in an ice cube tray.

Make sure your baby does not have an allergy to any ingredient in a recipe. Some time before using a mixed recipe, let your baby try each ingredient, and check for a reaction.
