Pureed or Lumpy Chicken, Beef, Turkey, or LambYou will need: Place the meat or poultry in a pot with 1 cup of water. Cover with a lid and bring it to a boil. Then turn the heat down to low and simmer until tender. Chicken and turkey will take about 40 minutes to cook, and beef and lamb will take up to 2 hours to cook, depending on the cut. Just cook until the meat is soft and tender. When cooked, place the meat or poultry into a blender with about 1/3 cup of the cooking liquid and blend until soft and mushy. Do not add salt or any seasonings. Even if you think it is too bland, your baby will like it as it is. Tips: This recipe will stay fresh in the fridge for three days. After you cook a recipe for your baby, put the amount you will use in three days in the fridge. Divide the rest into small servings and freeze it right away in an ice cube tray. Once the ice cube sections are frozen solid, you can put them all into a freezer zip lock bag. Make sure your baby does not have an allergy to any ingredient in a recipe. Some time before using a mixed recipe, let your baby try each ingredient, and check for a reaction.
