Breastfeeding problems are usuallly only temporary

Make Breastfeeding Easy and Discreet!

Breastfeeding problems can be fixed!

Breastfeeding is the most natural thing in the world. Why then, do we have breastfeeding problems sometimes? This section of the website is designed to help you get the most out of breastfeeding.

view breastfeeding Breastfeeding should NOT hurt, except for the first few days when you and your baby are getting used to it and it feels like your baby is a mini vacuum cleaner.

Breastfeeding really can be pleasant! Most of the time when you are having breastfeeding problems, it's because of a poor latch. So make sure that you get help with that, and you'll be on your way.

Breastfeeding problems should be taken care of immediately -- you simply cannot wait another day or week to get help. There is a TON of information on breastfeeding in my eBook. Click HERE to learn more about it.pregnancy, taking care of baby

If you do not know where to go for help, try these options:

- Your family doctor (if s/he is pro-breastfeeding)

- A breastfeeding clinic in a hospital

- The hospital where your baby was born

- La Leche League - they get over 10,000 phone calls a month. They are extremely helpful. Call 1-800-LA LECHE

- Your mother, sister, or friend who breastfed successfully

Bottom line? Breastfeeding problems can be overcome. Very few women cannot breastfeed.

I hope that I do not come across as a breastfeeding "pusher". I had one difficult time breastfeeding (I lasted for five months) and one wonderful time with breastfeeding (for a year) -- the same breasts, but different babies! I sincerely believe that you have to find what works best for you.

The decision to breastfeed or not is a personal one that only you can make. For more information on breastfeeding, there are 14 pages covering breastfeeding in my eBook, as well as tons of other tips on how to help your baby fall asleep, how to calm crying, how to give your new baby a bath, what to do, what not to do, what you need, and what you really don't need. Extensive research has shown that breast milk offers the absolute perfect nutrition for your baby as well as significant immunological benefits as well. In addition, consider the following facts:

· Breastfed babies have increased protection against diabetes, allergies and meningitis.

· Breastmilk also helps protect babies from ear infections, diarrhea, and colds and may help protect babies from S.I.D.S.

· The composition of breastmilk changes as your baby grows and her nutritional needs change.

· When breastfed babies do get sick, studies show that they require hospitalization less frequently than formula-fed babies.

· Breastfeeding is more convenient, especially when you’re on the go. There are no bottles to sterilize and no formula to refrigerate.

· Breastfeeding can save a family about $1200 a year.

· Women who breastfeed have a lesser chance of ovarian cancer and breast cancer. In fact, breast cancer affects women who have not breastfeed to such a great extent that it used to be called "the nuns' disease".

· Breastfeeding can also help you lose weight. Breastfeeding exclusively every day is the equivalent to riding a bicycle uphill for an hour a day or swimming 100 lengths in a pool.

Choosing to breastfeed is a choice a mother makes after carefully considering all the available information.

"The newborn baby has only three demands. They are warmth in the arms of its mother, food from her breast, and security in the knowledge of her presence. Breastfeeding satisfies all three." - Dr. Grantly Dick-Read

I experienced quite a few breastfeeding problems when I was nursing Hana (my first baby) and I got so much conflicting advice, it was very confusing. I didn't know who or what to believe. What I learned was this: breastfeeding problems do not go away on their own. You have to reach out and get help.

For myself, overcoming breastfeeding problems and being able to experience the contentment and pleasure that breastfeeding brings, makes me feel very personally satisfied. I did it for my baby, but I did it for me, too.

Please enjoy all the articles I have compiled for you on breastfeeding. Please remember that breastfeeding is a . Never let anyone make you feel bad for breastfeeding. You are awesome for trying!!!
